Description:
A growing ladies’ bookkeeping office serving small–mid size businesses across a wide range of industries is seeking an in-house Lead Bookkeeper. This role includes high-level bookkeeping, client-facing communication, coordinating with staff, and assisting with general office management. Ideal for a candidate just past beginner level who is motivated to grow within a supportive office environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day and advanced bookkeeping tasks
Communicate directly with clients in a professional, front-facing capacity
Train and support junior staff as needed
Review work and help coordinate office workflow
Assist with general office management responsibilities
Maintain accuracy, organization, and timely follow-through
Qualifications:
Proficient in QuickBooks Online & Desktop
Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a women’s office environment
Prior bookkeeping experience required (beyond beginner level)
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 12 PM–4 PM (required)
Friday: 10 AM–1 PM (some flexibility)
Optional morning hours available for candidates seeking additional time/full-time structure
