A large manufacturing company is hiring a Technical Product Owner within the Technology Department to lead and scale warehouse and shop floor systems. This role sits directly between software development teams and business operations, ensuring all system work is properly translated, prioritized, and executed.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the central point between a large team of tech developers and department directors
- Own all system requests coming from across the business and translate them into technical requirements
- Ensure development work is clearly defined, properly scoped, and correctly executed
- Hold developers accountable for timelines, delivery, and quality
- Decide what gets built based on technical feasibility and business impact
- Drive automation, system improvements, and operational efficiency across the tech stackWhat We Need (Must-Have):
- Experience working directly with software developers & QA teams in an Agile environment
- Strong technical understanding (this is a tech-facing role, not just business-facing)
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
- Strong prioritization, ownership, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication across technical teams and leadership
